Changing a Remington 870 safety

What skill level would be required to remove the factory safety and replace it with the Wilson jumbo head safety ?

You need to remove the trigger plate (aka trigger group) from the receiver and then remove the small pin that holds in the safety detent spring and safety detent. Be careful you do not loose them. Then remove and replace safety and parts in reverse order. It is fairy simple but a bit tricky.

Does the wilson jumbo head safety interchange with the j-lock safeties??

Yes, but you will have to change the safety plunger to the ball or old type plunger also.

i have the plastic trigger guard and j-safety trigger....

the big head safety works no problem!
