changing barrels

Im new in the black rifle game so i dont know how dumb the question is

but

if you buy an upper or a complete rifle with a 16 or 20 inch barrel can you swap out the barrel for a 10.5 inch barrel?

Yes.

yes. you'd just need a new gas tube and front sight housing/gas block to go along with your new barrel. (you'd be swapping over everything else).

Easier to get a barrel with delta-ring assembly and gas-block/front sight housing already installed if you want an easier, quicker swap.

Or even better, just buy a second upper and then you can change to whatever configuration you want in a few seconds.
