Changing butt stock

yes i know how, my question is i am deciding to leave my te;escoping stock and go with one of those nice metal top folders. i love the look and function.

anybody suggest some good quality ones to me?

If it's going to be a top folder, the best way to go is with factory REM Top Folder.

I've cut a buttpad from a piece of thick leather I get from a local shoemaker. It helps with the metal coming in contact with the top of the barrel when folded. This helps since the factory rubber pads are no longer available.

Oh, here's one right now ... this one doesn't have the pad I speak of, rather it sports the rubber factory pad.

Apparently a lot of people say that ATI is crap. But if you put it on a Mossberg 500 it seems to fit. I put this one on a friends 500 so he could have a bear defence gun while he unloads his trailer at the dump. Everything works great. It looks really good folded and decent unfolded. It's very comfortable and is built pretty heavily. I don't know why people have problems with them. I put a synthetic forend and an 18.5" barrel on it too and it looks pretty badass. It gets a lot of compliments. I put the whole gun together for him and the whole thing cost me under $150. A screaming deal if you ask me.
