Changing caliber on Colt Single action clone

How hard is it?

Let's say I want to change a Pietta 1873 from .45 colt to .357mag. Is it only a matter of changing the barrel and getting a new cylinder?

I really want to get a new cowboy gun in shiny nickel before the ban but I can't find any in .357 and I have no interest in .45 colt.

Fit the barrel to ensure proper cylinder gap and fit the cylinder to ensure proper timing and lockup. - dan
