I can't remember off hand, but you should be using a punch that is the same size as the roll pin. This will ensure you push it out, not widen the pin and get the punch stuck in the hole. Lightly tap it with a small hammer until it starts to come out. Then use some pliers to twist it out of the hole. With the pliers, you may more clearance if you drive it out from the bottom to the top.
