Ok so I am not sure if this has already been discovered but it was not in the 858 FAQ.
So I received my folding stock for my 858 and went to go put it on and ran into the same B!tch of a problem that everyone seems to, that damn ugly stock is friggin impossible to get off. So I ran around my house trying to find a screwdriver long enough to take out the stock screw. Eventually I decided I did not have an actual tool to do the job, so I started thinking how I could improvise and use something else. I started to think that there must be something in the 858 kit that would work so I looked through the cleaning kit and alas nothing that would do the job. I then started to think about using some random chunk of thin metal to get the job done...AND THEN IT CAME TO ME. What about that chunk of metal that I thought had no practical purpose, the Bayonet! Sure enough I stuck the bayonet into the stock and with relatively little effort I got that b!tch of a screw out of there.
So long story short slide the bayonet in there and that stupid stock screw will no longer be a problem.
If you can't tell I am stoked about figuring this out.
