I have a Vari-XIII Leupold 1.5-6x scope with a reticle I would like to get changed from Heavy Duplex to regular Duplex. Anyplace in Canada do this? Any idea of cost? thanks!

Korth can change it. I priced out changing scopes to B&C reticles awhile ago, and at that time it was 160 some bucks. More normal reticles were less but I don't really know exactly how much.

Not that it's any of my business but why would you want to go to a regular reticle? That scope is for close-mid range use and I've found that the heavy duplex is far superior to the regular duplex. Not trying to cause a problem, just wondering.

It's not what you think...

The reticle is not the heavy Duplex reticle they make now. This reticle is like really THICK, the cross hair intersection is as coarse if not coarser than the wide part of the heavy duplex cross hair. Great for low light or close range, terrible for any distance though. I'm not sure Leupold still offers it.

Has it got the square-topped pickets like reticle #15? Or something else? Intriguing.

I had one in a 2.5 Compact that subtended 2" with the narrow part of the crosshairs. That was a bit ridiculous.

Not your traditional gopher scope though. I'm not sure what the heavy duplex subtends. I do know that even after sunset in RSA with the scope turned all the way down he scope is still bright and the reticle visible. Part of the reason it's my favourite.

none of the above

None of the above, the taper to middle is gradual not sharp at all, gradual taper, impossible for precision shooting. It was son's idea, worked for him. He does not use the rifle anymore though (Winchester pre64 style, stainless 30'06) worked well enough on the elk he took with it.
