Changing Ruger PC9 Carbine Stock

I'd like to know if its possible to put the Magpul backpacker stock on the pistol grip carbine. I realize I can't have the pistol grip and the backpacker stock at the same time. I tried looking at the manuals on the Magpul site and its not clear to me if its feasible. I'd like both but if this is feasible, it seems like a good compromise from a budget standpoint.

its was designed to convert the original stock

the pistol grip version has a mlok barrel handguard and the back screw at the stock screws down from the top into the pistol grip
