Changing the extractor on MKII

I have never changed an extractor before and have a VQ one for my MKII and for the life of me can not see how the old one comes out and the new one goes in. I'm sure that it is very simple once you figure it out, but I must be less than simple. Thanks in advance.

A Mk II what? Sten? No.4? Bren? Ruger?

Sorry...I should have stated Ruger. Like I said...simple maybe.

edit to add...I found the instructions online and completed the job.

put a small flat micro screwdriver or pick of some kind under the extractor and on top of the plunger. Press down on the plunger to take pressure off the extractor and wiggle the extractor out. Might be easier if you remove the pin that holds the firing pin in place. If memory serves me, the extractor spring may ride up against it.
