Changing the forend on a Shockwave

I thought I was done with my mods, but apparently I'm not. I bought a Magpul forend for my 590 Shockwave SPX and it's too long. What are my options if I want a new forend?

edit to add....just checked the Magpul website. Bought it when I was in Cabelas. Should have checked the website first.

They're easy to mod to fit. Some use a holesaw, I used a die grinder. For bolt on, Ergo makes zn Mlok forend for them.

As above, easy to modify. You just need to remove material from the inside. Keyhole saws have been my go-to with a dremel to clean up edges.

Thanks for the replys gentlemen. Do you think the Magpul forend will work with the factory heat shield? IE, hog out a little to fit.

As I recall it'll rub against the heatshield but can be trimmed to fit.
