Chaparral pistols?

How many of you guys out there have a
Chaparral 1873 pistol?
or the 1897 shotgun?
Do you like them?
Did you have any issues with them
as far as funtioning,
or did they work great right out of the box?

I have a thread somewhere here on an 1873 model I bought. I think all the pictures are gone but you can still read what my impressions were. Basically for the price a decent gun, a few things could have used extra attention at the factory.

i was part of that thread, I was hoping to get some updates and feed back from anyone that also bought any of the rifles or the slick looking 1897 shotgun.
