Chapman barrel stamp

Was looking tonight at an Anshutz 54 prone rifle.

It has been rebarrelled with a Stainless barrel with the name CHAPMAN stamped on the side of it.

Apparently it was used it for match shooting in the day and rebarreled at Fort Benning, likely in the 1970's,,

Has anyone here seen or heard of this type of barrel, or gunsmith's stamp??

Any info. appreciated., Might have to call on some of the oldtimers for this one LOL
