I have seen some Antique revolvers Charcoal blued, It makes em go Black and is a more orignal color to the blue.Hows it done i hear the charcoal must be of good Quailty and very fine powder.
Or if you have any tricks as to get metal nice and Black like the Orignal Webley No4s Ect i would like to know how thats done.
Thanks,

Is that straight common charcoal or bone charcoal? I think there's a big difference.
Saw some single action revolvers done by Hamilton Bowen and it is a thing of beauty albeit a very delicate process.
PP.

Im not sure but surely someone must have some clue about this.
I also have seen a few guns done this way and they look great.

Hopefully someone has some tips on this :|
