Anyone else with a 601 able to confirm this is correct.
I've shot this gun and it seems to function quite well. However there's a gap between the piston and the action bars (photo attached) wanting to confirm this is normal. As the exploded diagram in the manuals shows a "piston buffer" which i don't think i have, but with the many many variants of turkish semi autos who knows which parts are for what lol, my last turkish semi didn't have a gap, or a "piston buffer" but it was not this model, only similar.
Thanks for your help

Some seem to have an O-Ring in front of the piston, would this be suitable to close the gap. My concern is the piston has room to violently slap back and forth, and there's already a thread here about a 601 piston breaking in half.

I ordered some remington 1100 o-rings, gave them a shot but with one installed it holds the piston about 1/4" out from seating in the "gas block" and i don't believe it's allowing the bolts locking lug to lock up so i removed it for now anyway.

I sent an email to the dealer which was ignored, just requested them to compare with another in stock.
And also waiting for an email response from chiappa/Charles daly.

Edit: I received an email response from Chiappa/Charles daly, and they said the way I have it assembled is correct, no need for any additional parts pieces or o-rings.

Thanks for listening cgn
