Ingram opened up shop in 1835 or '36, and the firm was still in business until 1946. There is normally an address on the gun as well as the makers name, usually on the rib. They moved several times, and if you could find an address it would be easier to narrow down a date of manufacture.

Have a good look at the bores for any signs of pitting or dents. If the barrels are free from damage, I would have no hesitation in firing it myself. It's difficult to tell from the phots what grade or quality the gun is; English makers usually made several qualities of guns, from "best" to relatively cheap.
