Charter Arms Bulldog in Canada?

One of the guys I work with is a revolver nut and he really wants to pick up a Charter Arms Bulldog, or something similar by that company.

Does anyone know if there is any dealer in Canada that brings them in? I have never seen one in a gunshop here in Vancouver.

The main problem seems to be the barrel length - most of their guns are 2 and 2.5 inch.

I know he could try and find a 5 or 6 inch model and then have Questar import it. Maybe that is the only way to do it. The hard part seems to be finding a longer barrel gun. It would probably have to be a custom job done in the States - which would cost a fortune, for what is supposed to be a lower-end revolver.

I have a 44 Special Bulldog Pug, so I know they have brought some in (pre-12(6), you'll just have to keep an eye out in the used HG stores and on the EE. - dan

Every gun that company makes is prohibited due to barrel length. Instead of going through the time and expense of finding someone to modify it with a longer barrel he might as well buy a longer gun from someone else. The whole appeal of those guns is the short barrel and concealability. Once you add the longer barrel that is gone.

Unless of course he is a 12-6 guy and dan agrees to sell his.
