Took it to the range and it works pretty well. No, it didn't fall apart - at least not yet.If it ejects fired cases then all is well. On the GP-100 that I sent back I had to pluck the fired cases out by hand... And those were only factory 38 special wadcutters. Just like your CA, my Ruger was only rough for the first part of the cylinder just like your pics show. If they eject ok when using the ejection rod then I wouldn't worry about it. I'd like to get one in 44 special.
Fired cases eject ok - sometimes you have to tap the ejector a few times to get them all to drop free. I'm sure that will get better with more use.
I was shooting PMC .357 Magnums and had six rounds (out of 50) fail to fire. Even after hitting them three times they didn't go bang (ya, I know I shouldn't do that, and it does make me nervous handling the duds after). All had decent divots in the primers from the firing pin. All the Sellier & Bellot .38 Special (box of 50) except one worked fine - that one wanted to be hit twice before going bang. So I'm fairly sure it was just the ammo that was the problem, but not 100%. I put a few drops of oil in the hammer mechanism area while at the range to see if that would help, but still had more FTFs after. Do PMCs have funky primers that the Bulldog isn't hitting hard enough, ya think? I'll shoot a different brand next time I go and see if I get better results.
As far as accuracy goes, I don't know yet. Had a guest with me and we were just basically goofing off shooting all my handguns at the same targets. Need to get more serious with it and see how it actually shoots.
One real problem I found with the Target Bulldog is that the front sight is the same matte finish stainless as the barrel. It's really hard to see, especially on a gray, rainy day. Just kind of blends in with the target/background. I need to paint it black or red or something so I can aim properly without straining my old eyes.
