I built this mp5 navy (like) chassis for the 10/22 years ago. It is heavy and actually my gun shoots great out of it because the receiver and barrel are pretty secure in there. But lately I have been wanting to build a real accurate squirrel gun. This stock is accurate but the scope sits so high above the bore that as distance changes, the point of impact and scope alignment change much faster than a scope mounted closer to the barrel. When range is known it’s not an issue but when chasing fuzzies that isn’t always an option. It’s built for a full length spotter barrel with fake can so legally it’s long enough.
I was toying with putting the chassis up on the EE. Wondering what the crowd thinks I could ask for it (or if it’s a novelty thing that doesn’t have any value).It’s not anodized. It’s painted but has held up well and can easily be touched up.
Thoughts? Im just looking for a rough idea.
