Grabbed a few boxes of cheap 55gr. 223 and ran them through my red dot equipped PWS MK107 Mod 1, here are my notes:
Norinco (1120 pack): no funny smells, dirty breech, tiny particles hit shooter, same trajectory/accuracy and point of impact same as Federal AR223 out to 300,no cycling issues, no punctured primers, no unseated primers.
Federal AR223: smells like cat urine, the most accurate (fractionally), no cycling issues, cleanest, no surprises.
MFS steel case: as clean as Federal, no funny smells, largest groups by a large margin, POI 3 MOA at 10 0'clock, one failure to feed from well proven magazine (first ever for rifle), looks pretty cool for photo shoots.
