I don't think it will affect ammo prices at the stores. It does have the potential of offering large quantities of cheap ammo. Its essentially a group buy.

If it's NATO it would be FMJ and probably steel cases, possibly corrosive primers if it's really old, I wouldn't bother.

When did NATO ammo go steel cased ??
NATO was never corrosive....
How old can it be, 5.56 NATO only goes back 40yrs. ?

I had some NATO 7.62 that was steel. Never actually seen corrosive primers myself....
