I was in Hamilton at Al Simmons and got 500 rounds of American Eagle 55gr for $179 i think it was, but not they're all out of stock and I need some more.

Does anyone know where I could pick up some more in that price point within a short driving distance, or an online place with cheap shipping?

You were in hamilton and went to als before fishing world?? Shame on you. Kidding kidding. Drop in there, they always have that ammo in stock and a great selection of other bulk ammo. Ive also seen them swing better deals on buying multiple cases.

Thanks for the Fishing World suggestion.. was down there today, and they had tons in stock at $179

btw, that store was awesome.. like a smaller bass pro, but a lot closer and better selection ;)

picked up some fishing gear i needed.
 
500 rounds of .308 steel case (MFS I think it was) for $259 as well..

that seemed pretty good deal, if i had a .308 to shoot.. :)
 
I've been noticing that most ammo and reloading components are getting pretty similar in price between Canada and the US. With the obvious exception being the super cheap junk. That said, I wouldn't dare shoot steel cartridges in my AR15s. Non-lubricated steel on steel can't be good for the gun.
