Well !! I guess this is shredders doing! He put me onto,the Remington slip on butt pad, I got one, cost me an outrageous $8 dollars!!!!.(impulse buy,I guess). Yes it fit perfect, made shooting the M.N.91 a pleasure, made the LOP,fit me perfect!!! BUT IT COST $8.00 DANG!!! This was just eating,away at me! Always in the back of my mind. So today I'm at the farm and garden store, and I see them!!! THONGS, NO NOT THAT KIND..!!! I'M talking about the kind you wear on your feet! Not the wedgie kind. HaHa so I grab a pair in large size. There were different colors, I got the ones with a black sole. Kinda, like me, just ask the wife. Paid a whole $1.06 after tax.!! Got home, traced around the but t of the Austrian M95, ,I call it the mule! Ended up with 6- 1/2 in. Pads!!!!! Contact cemented two of them together
And then onto the M95 but plate, works out too .35 cents ,for a 1 in. Thick pad and .18 cents if you only want 1/2 I pad, plus a couple of cents for glue. They have a nice textured anti-slip,surface and look real tacky. Otherwise no problem. Makes a world of difference in felt recoil. And did I say it only cost .35 cents. I'm not cheap, just frugal.
