Cheap ingot moulds?

Muffin tins work great, just be sure to buy the ones that are smooth and well tapered. Most muffin tins have ridges when they form the cup and the lead won't release. Steel or aluminum works fine, just have to take care or the aluminum pans bend easily. Better yet is a cast iron muffin pan.

After reading the tip here, I bought a can of graphite spray to use as a release agent in my beater muffin pan. Wow does that stuff work great! A quick blast into each cup lasts forever! The cooled ingots drop right out and none of the graphite seems to get removed. I figure the can will last a lifetime. :)
