Cheap-ish 300 Savage and 7.5x55 Swiss?

Hi All,

For some time I've been hunting for (not "with") 300 Savage and 7.5x55 Swiss ammo.

On Arsenalforce, I can only see the Savage in the price range between $55 and $75 per box of 20. The Swiss is even worse with the only option being the Norma at almost 80 a box. Plus tax plus shipping, and the ammo easily outprices the rifle itself.

Any tips or ideas where I can get ammo in these calibers for less so I can do some practice without breaking the bank? "Buy 1 box and reload away until the brass is green in the neck" is a backup plan, yes, but is there any other places I could check?

For 7.5 Swiss the PPU branded ammo is the lowest price and actually pretty good ammo. 300 savage is not as common anymore but most gun shops stock it. Ya $50 and up is probable. Reloading is your friend. It wasnt long ago the Swiss gp11 surplus ammo made for great target ammo but supplies are rarer these days.
