Hey guys

I'm wondering if any of you have bought one of those cheap AIM point clones. What do you think of them? I remember reading somewhere that a certain seller on ebay from HK has relatively good copies, while most others are crap.

Basically I'm trying to find a cheap parallax free (or close to it) red dot sight. I'd love to get a real aimpoint or something comparable to that one day, but right now food is more important lol.

Suggestions?

cool, how's that parallex?

I have a Tasco one right now, the parallex seems good 50yards and out, but up close it's no good.

I just received my Aimpoint clone from 1337 Tactical. The fit and finish is surprisingly good as I was under the impression that it would sloppy. No instructions were present in the box nor are there any markings anywhere on the sight itself. Sometime down the road I'll do a range report once the sight has a good many rounds under it.

My first red-dot was a Tasco BKRD42 (42mm Objective)

It was a neat sight, had a good open field of view, but the dot stretched out when it went on the left side of the lens. (the LED was on the right side BTW) Crappy optics, but if the dot stays in the centre it works okay.

Havn't tried any Aimpoint clones, but im sure they'll be similar for only 1 lens optics. You get what you pay for, BUT, a lot of these cheaper sights are very good for the price you pay!
