Cheap scope - Which one?

I am in the market for a "budget scope". I think I've narrowed it down to Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9X40 or a Vortex Diamondback in the same. Just to make it more difficult I can get the Diamondback 4-12X40 for the same price as the other diamondback. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It will be mounted on a 7mm.

vortex. and stick with the 3-9. the 4x12 just adds weight and unnecessary magnification.

I really like the new Redfields...didn't break the bank for one of my .308's.....I can't comment how it will hold up on a 7mm tho...
