Cheap semi auto 22 - looking for advice

I have 3 10/22's and 2 Remington 597's. While there are more option parts for the 10/22's, the Remington's are more accurate out of the box.
My vote is the same as a few others and don't limit yourself to those three.

As for the Marlin's, not a fan. I have shot and spent a lot of time around 4 of them. Two of them were great. Two of them were horrible. After 4 different types of ammo, 3 scopes, and 2-3 shooters on each of them and still only getting 6" groups at 25 yards, I'm not a fan.
