It is also a nice place to look arround. maybe the biggest gun shop in NY state. I think they even can do the fire arm export paper works. If you pay $75 they can send the gun to the boarder for clearance.

What documentation do they need from you before they let you fondle the guns? Are the up to date with the Cdn gun laws or is that your responsibility?

I've never bought a gun in the US before but if I can get it cheaper there why not?? Is it difficult to get it across the border?
 
So far as I understand, they will need your PAL to regist (same step as you buy a gun from local gunshop) then they will have someone to bring the gun to the boarder and you might pay the GST 6% and import tax (depends what kind of gun you bought from 3% to 7%). You better call them for offical information.
