Hi ! I'm looking to buy a bundle of gen3 pmag before the Ban hammer from lieberals in december or after...

I' looking for what (I think) they will ban, and buy it before they ban everything..

Brownells they have sometime a 10mag bundle for ~10$ each..... Do we have something like that in Canada ??

You do realize that if they were to ban any type of AR15 magazine that there would be no grandfathering. It would be too difficult to keep track of the pre-ban mags. There has to be more than a million of them.

Buy 10 mags because "you can never have too many mags". PMags prices seem to be at an all time low everywhere.

I usually hit up Questar. $219 for 10. Shipping prices are reasonable.

Magpul tends to dump a shipment into the Canadian market... whenever they damn well feel like it, then take months and months until the next one.

I'd hunt retailers on here, many often have 10 pack deals.

Magpuls aren't your only option, IWI mags, among others, are plentiful in this country (for now) and i believe are available in 10 packs, along with LARS and others.

My concern was about the 30/5 round mag. I will not be surprise if they ban the long ones (20-30-40rounds) and allow just the short 5-10 ones

While I wouldn't put anything past the Turd, I just don't see that happening. There hasn't been any issues with people popping rivets and shooting people. Banning would create a fight. They are so plentiful that I'm sure they would rather fight a smaller enemy

I would like to agree with you to keep the Feds away from our mags but in my experience in this business (retail)I have come across numerous pinned mags that been '"tampered with" if you get my drift. When the mag laws were first introduced I was a LEO and can say that me and my fellow LEO's were surprised that they allowed pinning of mags while still leaving the original body the full length. At the time there was no specific or technical definition in how the mags had to be limited other than by pinning, riveting, gluing or indenting. Simple wooden or plastic blocks in the mag would not be allowed unless the block was secured by one of the above methods. It was our working definition that if the block required tools (as opposed to fingers) to remove then the conversion would be legal. I came across some very questionable mag conversions but I never charged anyone for having an improper conversion if there was at least an attempt to block the mag in some fashion. Phil.

Pretty sure nothing happened to justify the 10/22 magazine ban either...

Those mags aren't illegal. The RCMP just interpret it that way (unless there has been a court case lost). I think the OP was worried about actual legislation by our government (the real lawmakers) as opposed to the RCMP who are overstepping their powers (although the government isn't doing anything to set them straight)
