bit of a run on the old 10 round mag's this last month.

If you mean inexpensive....a butler creek 10rd is prolly the one.

Keep in mind if you buy a cheap mag and end up throwing it in the creek in frustration and then replacing it with a better one that actually works it aint cheap anymore...in fact it becomes MORE expensive.

I just ordered a few ruger 10 rounders from crappy tire. Think it was 21$ shipped to the local store.
Only place with stock that I could find.

Just a question why a 10 round? They are nicer off the bench & out the truck window, but sometimes more is better. I just don't use the 10 rounders much and just sold a NIB one I had. AJ ??

25 rounders are now prohibited, just like shooting out of your truck...

Actually they are "interpreted" by a police agency rather than the actual Govt as having the potential to be prohibited......lets not get too carried away here.

And although shooting from a truck is prohibited by law.....the actions of the shooter should be the focus....plenty of negligent/unsafe/malicious/dangerous activity goes on on ranges and other places where shooting is legal.....it's the shooters competence and actions that are important.
Observing the 4 golden rules are all that are necessary.....whether you shoot from your truck, a tree, off a boat shouldn't matter.
It's no different than categorizing the device in the name of safety or law.....shouldn't matter if its a snub nose 5 shooter or a 50 cal semi rifle.....your actions and consequences are the only issue......covering anyone with the muzzle of either is a problem, shooting without knowing the target and what's behind it is a problem, discharging either in a quickie mart or bar is a problem, using it with malicious or criminal intent is a problem.


BUT...to be clear..... Lets round up all the 22lr plinkers unleashing the hell and fury of 11 rim fire rds at the poor innocent unsuspecting javex bottle perched safely against a sand pit wall shot from a pickup.
World peace and an end to social injustice will surely follow

Haven't been in a farm fuel/field truck yet that the defrost vents didn't have that distinctive rattle when you turn a corner, I bet you know what noise I'm talking about LOL.
