Cheapest 30 Cal bullets?

well.... you could try 165gr HPBT part # 2140.
they shoot just as good as MK's.. very tight groups ( clover leaf all day long)

I get mine for $35.95 per 100.

And FYI:
the Sierra 168gr MK ( part # 2200) needs a twist rate of 1X9.
It may not be what you're looking for.. depends on your rifle.

Bullets

Try Dave Friesen out in Sardis. He stocks 500 pack Sierras, and was selling pulled .30 cal FMJ for $100 per thousand. The .30 pulled work excellent in my Garand. Phone# 604-858-6098

wtf? since when ? The 308 168 was designed as a 300m UIT bullet for the 308 Win with a 12" twist

Not according to their Infinty Suite software.. it specifically states that these MKs are to be used with a 1X9 twist for proper stabilization....
Its from them dude.. their advice.

I don't know what you're talking about. From your own post above, it says clearly that the 240-grain Matchking needs a 1-9 twist, but not the others.

What RGV said above, times 2.

I never noticed how the * was used..... never caught that on the 240gr. As you can tell I thought it meant all MK's.
my bad.

I have a box of 180gr MK's.. $45.00 is the price on the box.

Did'nt some one mention 1000 pulls from friesen for 100 bucks, get on the phone and order them. Or call Higginsons powders and buy some bulk bullets.

Why #### around with trying to save a dollar or two on 1000 plinking bullets from the USA when Dave and Andrew are offering them at the same or very nearly the same price.

Shop in Canada or we are not going to have any vendors left.

You could buy 1000 rounds of military surplus 7.62X51, pull the FMJ's for your pal, dump the powder out of each case, then carefully work up a load for your 168 gr match bullets using the surplus case primer and powder.
