cheapest 7.62x39mm ammo in canada B.C.

where can i find the cheapest crates of 7.62x39mm surplus ammo in BC? currently at chilliwack dart and tackle its $299 for 1440 rounds and i have heard its the same at wanstalls in maple ridge. i swear the price jumped up recently it was something like $200 for 1200 rounds a couple months ago. can i find this ammo for cheaper anywhere else in the lower mainland area? at 299 for 1440 it works out to 20 cents a shot, that could get expensive after a while. ive sort of been on the fence for getting a 22LR gun or an SKS and 22's work out to about 6 cents a shot at crappy tire. 20 cents a shot for ammo thats gona mess up your gun doesnt seem all that good of a deal to me anyway

you can try leverarms in Vancouver 1440 at 299/case Chinese ammo, could be non-corrosive, I'm not sure 100%, you have to call them

Prices go up and rarely down. It's the nature of the market. I haven't seen it for $200/1440rnds in a while.

If you buy from Lever, assume it's going to be corrosive, I don't care what they say or what is painted on the crate, ITS CORROSIVE

if it's Czech surplus ammo, then it's corrosive.
some dealers have non-corrosive too, but you have to pay the "great" price for it

that does seem like a good deal, but they dont allow pickups and the shipping cost might offset the saveings. also it seems a little shady that they dont accept pay pal or credit cards, only cash, money orders and direct deposit....

Yes, I can assure you that Henry @ Budget Shooter Supply is the opposite of shady.

I'm thinking his payment options have to do with keeping things simple and keeping Visa's fingers out of his profit margins, and therefore out of the bottom line on your bill as well. Just my guess.
