Awesome! That thing is in great shape.

Too bad you'll have to dig a big trench in that nice lawn to accompany it and make it look 'period correct'..... :D

I actually have a 'big enough'lawn to make that a serious consideration

hell...its big enough to do a whole 'trench system'...but I will be dammed if Im gonna do it by hand

It seems a shame to dewat it. Is someone going to rob a 7/11 with one?
It would do one heck of a driveby though.
Still a beautiful piece of art and history. Possibly one of the most important guns of the 20th century.

He eats lots of weiner water soup and fried ice. All the grocery money goes to his toys. Don't invite him over for the weekend. He'll eat ALL your food and drink ALL your whiskey.
 
You've got a good deal for a beautiful gun. I had to restrain myself from clicking the BUY IT NOW button when I saw it in EE.

Now for a noob question... how does the water cooling work (if it wasn't dewat)

How it works.

After firing several belts, the water in the jacket turns to steam. Steam travels through hose to the can where it condenses back into water.

two options then.
1. pour water back into barrel jacket or
2. top up water jacket.

Contrary to popular belief the water IS NOT pumped back into the gun.AND you CANNOT use the hot water to brew up your tea (unless you like grease in it);)
