Cheapest place to buy .22 ammo?

Availability is more of an issue these days than price. You might want to rephrase your question "Who is stocking .22 ammo?". Perhaps also post you general location. Good luck in your quest...

Lol totally! Price is just about as silly as avalibility.
I missed the boat on m22 cases. There was a CT about 2h away and had 27 cases. In less than a week they were all gone.
$52 per 1000 seems like a good deal now. Average price Ive seen is 8-12¢ for the cheap stuff. Its almost the same price as CCI now. So silly.

I can't tell you where but I can tell you when. This is always a bad time of year for .22lr, the weather warms up and consumption goes up too. October onwards seems to get better with the peak being all the December sales.

No sense buying more than you need at full price, wait till you see a deal and then buy a few cases.

I will buy bulk .22lr when it's at or below $0.05/round before tax. If it is much more than that, I wait. I have extra boxes on hand to get me through a lull in sale prices.
I may have to adjust that threshold higher in the coming years if prices keep climbing and/or the Loonie continues to weaken. So far this Spring, I've found a sub 5-cent source of decent bulk .22lr.

Thats fantastic but is it remington ammo?

Chody, you might start by editing your user info to include the name of your city/town. It would help us to help you.

It's also VERY unlikely that you'll get a good enough deal to still pay the cost of shipping and save over a local purchase in the end. So really just go around to your local gun shops and ask for prices on case lot amounts of 5000 or equivalent if they are selling oddball numbers in a brick. If you're not looking to buy at least a case they aren't going to discount the price and you'll simply be paying their off the shelf cost per brick.

Small town older shops are usually the rudiest shops wih the lowest rent. Their overhead is much less than in the city. Most retailers won't reveal their overhead to the general public so its going to be hard determining who is the cheapest place that has 22 ammo. Now that i think about it it might be Canada wholesale ammo but whatever you do read the reviews on the chap as he is selling out of his moms garage and service is aweful....but then again you get what you pay for.

Funny thing at my local CT. The Remington was the second last to go. The high priced CCI was the last. There is still lots of WMR and shorts in CCI but everything else was out.
About three months ago I picked up Peters Rem stuff. I know ot has issues from what I read but I got it at 17.30 of 500.
Its much hotter than my AE and M22.

Not sure if a Peavey Mart is near you, OP but they have Remy Thunderbolt on sale this week at $2.49 / 50 rds. Think I might pick up a case myself. Glad I bought a case of American Eagle last year at $1.67 a box.

Careful with peavey mart, last year AE was 2.29/box, i was there the other day and there was a 4.49 sticker on the AE. They might have just gone full retard.

Yes wholesale sports had cases for under $200 out the door last year. Glad I picked up 10k. Sadly I only have 2k left.
I wish m-22 had HP aswell as RN for the same cost.
