Cheapest place to buy.22 lr ammo

Ok, most sites online with shipping costs more than it Is local. Canadian tire price matched cabelas once and I got some federal blue box for 16$ a box. Regularly 25$

I thought that was a good deal!

It is! I should try that. I buy 22LR from crappy usually (convenient, range rarely has bulk). My 597 seems to be a good one that'll eat anything so I'm using Federal for ~$22/box of 525.

Crappy Tire, TSE, Bass Pro, Cabelas, Le Baron, Walmat (if they sell ammo) and pretty well any large sporting goods store.

the best deal i found was at a gas station belive it or not. near a place i go 4x4ing i didnt even have my guns. stoped in to get a few things. they had bricks of blazer .22lr for 15.99ea. i bought all 5 they had. even their 12gAA was 6.99 a box. odd but good for me

I usually buy the copper plated winchester 333, 555 or dynapoint from wal mart. I think a 333 box is $15, and the 555 or dynapoint cost around $21 a box. I like the copper plated ammo better, because I find it feeds better, and does'nt jam. Regular lead ball nose .22lr is really soft, and gets hung up easy, causing a feeding problem in my semi auto's. I like to keep a good inventory of .22lr, and rarely have less than 5-6 bricks..... Too bad canadian tire did'nt have any good sales on bricks of .22lr, like 60% off sales, like everything else in there store. Usually the only ammo sales at can tire, is on stuff that knowone buys

Let me guess you like wheelin up sylvestor? Little gas station right off the hwy? Esso or husky I think? I buy ammo there all the time on the way up shooting/wheelin and who can resist the heat lamp pizza by the slice lol
