Anybody know any good place (perferably Ontario) that sell resonably priced 308 match ammo. Not looking for any brand in particular for now. Thanks.

:) :) :)

"...you can't use "match" and cheap in the same sentence..." Sure you can. It just doesn't apply.
Call Epp's, then take the ride up the 400. It's worth the trip just to go there.
Mind you, you'd be better off loading your own. The last time I looked, Hornady 168 grain match bullets were running over $300 per 1,000. 1,000 rounds is 50 boxes of 20. Wholesale Sports, for example, wants $1399.50 plus taxes and shipping for 50 boxes of 20 rounds($27.99 per box) of Federal .308 match ammo with no guarantee your rifle will shoot it well. Mind you, I suspect you might get a bit of a break for that many.

Not to go too far off topic, but why buy match ammo when you could handload ammo that's even better for even cheaper than the cheapest factory ammo?

^I can answer that. Because I don't have any reloading equipment!!! :p

I just got myself my first 308 rifle, not sure how many rounds I will put through it in a year for me to invest on reloading stuff.

If you're shooting for groups, it's totally worth it.

That is a very correctable situation..........10 boxes of match ammo will pay for the lion's share of the reqisite reloading equipment!.........AND you will end up with more accurate ammo than the commercial match stuff..........so not many excuses left, I'd say.

You don't even need very fancy equipment to produce good ammo. Even something like a Lee Anniversary Kit should be able to make decent ammo. A single-stage press is fine because it's not like you'll be cranking out hundreds of rounds at a time like you would for pistol cartridges.
