what is the cheapist centerfire hand gun ammo??i understand that the price can vary on better quality stuff but in general whats the cheapest to shoot

For widely available cheap always 9mm can always be found at a bargain.

7.62x 29mm milsurp corrosive when available

Pistol: 7.62x25mm corrosive

as far as new factory ammo goes 9mm and .223 can be found fairly cheap

i dont want anything corrosive...so 9mm or 223 it is ...how much per box?...im just getting into hand guns i want the best bang for my buck

cheap .223 can be had for ~$10-13/box(20) for readily available brands (Win & Rem).

cheap 9mm is usually $12-15/box(50) for Winchester USA stuff.

The cheapest, is bullets you cast yourself in 9mm or 45acp and create your own handloads with it. It ends up costing about $2.50 for 50 - 9mm's and $2.92 for 50 45acp's.
