Check rest problem

So i have a savage mark ii and i got a 50mm scope on it so it using high rings. So i can't rest my head on the stock to get a nice cheek placement. So does anyone have any ideas for what i can do get a higher cheek rest that is not garbage like duck tape.

There are lace on cheek rests made from nylon cloth. I've seen them in camo and black. There are also leather ones. Or you can cut up a black foam knee pad and punch holes in it, and install a shoe lace. I did that, and it didnt look bad at all.

If it is a plastic stock you could get a boyds stock it has a raised comb

i would love to get a boyds stock but i don't know how to pick a stock out i think my rifle is a FV modle or FVT not to sure it came with target sights and has a 5 round mag and heavy barrel

What model doesnt matter all the boyds mkII/93 stocks fit

Tac Pro cheek risers are the way to go. They don't widen the comb like a lace on and they don't slide around like many lace on risers do. They're solid and comfortable. Mystic Precision sells them for $50. The standard model fits the Savage tupperware stock good.

This is what I have on my 93r17, with a 50mm objective scope mounted. Shell holder with a rolled up face cloth underneath, not the most exotic solution but it definitely works

As long as its not the tacticool one and its under $100 BEFORE shipping then they will ship no problem. All you have to do is pay for it and its sent to you.

Tacticool stock is good, a definite improvement, but I'd still want an adjustable riser in the end anyways.

Yup as long as you dont get the tacticool one as they can not ship it out of the usa. It has been deemed military technology

Not just military technology but Significant Military Equipment! Yes, bedliner painted wood stocks for .22s are at the cutting edge of US military small arms development. I hear the USMC marked ones are rare. Don't confuse them with the home made crap you see on the internet, if its not duplicolor bedliner its not milspec!
