Anybody have any experience with the kydex cheekpeice. The M305 has such a drastic drop on it, that my cheek hardly makes contact on the comb just looking through the iron sights. A stock with less drop at heel and comb would reduce felt recoil and muzzle climb I'm sure. Any thoughts.

Almost every M14 type rifle I owned had a Rooster33 adjustable cheekrest (Thermo Plastic). You had to drill two holes through the stock.

The cheekrest was solid and easily adjustable.I installed over a 100 of those cheekrests and never had, or heard of any problems.............

A few examples.......These pics show the first generation cheekrest with the original style hardware. The hardware was changed to larger knurled parkerized adjustment knobs, and the front of the cheekrest was cut back to allow for more room for your hand......

There are several companies making this style of cheekrest these days.........
