Cheek raiser

My choice would be one 'like' a Mathews, but amazon has some 'Not-M' for about $35. You have to drill holes for the adjustment screws so not the best for wood stock unless you plan to 'keep it forever'.

Hear me out....
$32............. Thats it.............

Im all for supporting local business BUT for something so cheap and simple... Comes with all the hardware....

Ive ordered 4x now... Last two showed up in an army green... Not black... Serve the same purpose.61FWqOOxL2L._AC_SL1209_.jpg

^ Same as I have for Post #3 - I have a couple more for 'winter projects', too. I have to lower it to remove the bolt for cleaning. Savage B-22 FV, now with an Athlon 8-34x56 FFP. About Half the hits are sub-MOA (<0.5235") with this @ 50-yds and 1.3-1.5" at 100.

Aren't these a blatant copy of a Canadian-made product that only costs about $50? I can't recall the name off hand...

Yup, h ttps://coretacsolutions.com/tacpro-adjustable-narrow-rifle-cheek-rest/

Toronto based company sells the "tacpro" no idea if they are canadian but they are 67 bucks plus shipping... Or 32 and prime...

One on the 22 and one on the 6.5 They basically go on every scoped rifle as most companies selling rifles under 1500 bucks wont have an adjustable cheek as good as this set up... Lol

Most of these are made of Chinesium Kydex, at varying prices. The prices have dropped a bit but still pricey - plus tax and shipping. The $32.90 comes to $38 in NB. Coretac is a drop-shipper-type of place with 'some' production of their own. See the web site above. I don't know about the Matthews mfg, I never wanted to pay ca $75+customs. (they used to be ca $70 a few years ago)

Matthews riser looks alike @ $ 128 !! (pic is too big- https://www.amazon.ca/Adjustable-Kydex-Cheek-Rest-Riser/dp/B00G9PN4GW/ref=sr_1_43

Below are the ones I bought in the past, starting in 2019 for the 'strap-on' type ( it's OK but klutzy, the bullet sleeve is removable-velcro ). The Solely model is 'competitive' being CDN, then ADD Tax and Shipping ?

I'd pay extra to avoid drilling. But that's just me.
One of the reasons I decided to pay $50.90 which includes shipping and taxes. On top of it I know what I am getting. I've red amazon reviews on the bolt on version. All sorts of complaints regarding supplied hardware being rusty, wrong colour and poor quality. I didn't want to play lottery and paid less than 20 bucks extra. Well worth the peace of mind.
