Anyone know where to find a cheekrest for an M-14? I heard about a guy named skullboy that is supposed to have a version for sale but don't know who he is or how to contact. Any help is appreciated

Cool, hey would the eagle industries stock pack work? Do they have enough lift in them, or could you pad them? Anybody know?

I picked up a cheek rest from smithenterprises. It was cheap and works pretty well. I ended up putting a bit of high density rubber below it to raise it up just a bit. I shoot this on a Mcmillan stock and it works ok. I would try finding a cheek rest that has a butt strap as mine tries to slide forward. or you could always drop the money on a JAE-100 :) it has one!

I love the Eagle Stock pack, but on my M700 sniper rigs. I found that the Eagle and Blackhawk stock packs were way too low for my M14 using ARMS18 and low Millett Angle-Loc rings with Leupold Mark4 M1 LR/T 6.5 x 20 x 50mm.

Maybe make one yourself? Doesn't look like they couldn't be done with a sheet of Kydex (put it in a sink of hot water to soften, drape it over the stock and it hardens in that shape) and a power drill.

You can put a couple of pegs through the kedex to hold it at just the right height on the stock, then lace some paracord through it on the bottom to pull it tight, I have seen pics of those and they seem to work.

Thx !

Daves' surplus carries the Eagle stock pack as well.Just click the Dave's ad banner link at the top of the page.

Last week there were were still some in stock.

SKBY.

You could also go the welfare route as Hungry so often promotes, and guntape some foam padding on top of the but. This is apparently an approved field modification in the US Army
