Cheek riser recommendations?

Hey gang, I'm on the hunt for a cheek riser either cordura or leather material for a Sako Bavarian Carbine, it has a Monte Carlo style stock with a swell on it. I need just an extra little bit of a lift to get a comfortable cheek weld but so far haven't had a lot of luck in local gun shops....looking for recommendations before buying online.
 
I would recommend lower rings if possible. Have same issue with BLR, I used slip on with pieces to bring it up to comfort. I always questioned the bavarian stock as it slants downwards. Another option with a smaller diameter scope that would accommodate lower rings.

Yeah I'm considering trying a different set of rings, I've got the Sako Optilocks on it now and I'm not a big fan of them one because they are just overly complex and convoluted design. I went as low as I could might be able to close the distance with another brand...though I'm trying to avoid having the iron sights on the rifle become part of the sight picture by going too low with rings.
 
It's not cordura or leather but the adjustable Bradley cheek rest will fit in a Monte Carlo stock. It's plastic but comes in many colours and patterns and no drilling or stock mods are required. You'll have to call them dirrect because they website doesn't allow you to order from Canada. Bradley is the owner, tell him that Gary from Canada referred you. Good luck

Somewhere on CGN there is the contact info for a couple of gunsmiths in AB that'll add an adjustable cheek
rest for 180$.

I assume you wish to NOT drill your expensive Sako stock?? If not, in the bargain bin on the ATRS website is a lace up slip in riser that might work for you. If you are willing to drill, let m know and I'll show you what I do on mine.

I'd ditch those optilocks too. I don't understand why some company's insist on trying to reinvent the wheel. Get a good picatinny rail, and be done with it!!!
