Cheers.

Is this available for the iphone as well? I can not tell.

It should be no different than the regular pc version and that would make this a hell of an app.

I would like to get my hands on his (Brian litz ?) book tho, I really don't know much about G7 and G1..... and that kinda makes the app a little usless to me right now. All i know is one is the better BC for long range an the other is closer in. and there very important.

One day soon, when EMP weapons(which fry electronics) become common on the battlefield, what would we all do without our sniper computers to tell us what to do? :)

Actually, I am sure they are a great training tool and for match use---but are these practical in combat?

Just a thought provoking question..........

lol I think you might play a little to much call of duty.
But yes the programs work and can save you a good chunk of ammo when your finding ur bullets dope at varying ranges.

What about an iPod Touch? Then at least you can use iSnipe or what I use; Bullet Flight by Knight's Armament. It's not cheap, but works well and I find the interface more intuitive as opposed to iSnipe. Check it out: h ttp://w ww.knightarmco.com/bulletflight/

I had bullet flight on my iPhone and it was good to get you roughly in the target area but it's far from the be all.

I use a chrony, and my alt and temp are correct. In real life the app worked but not near enough for first round hits.

Shooter seems to work great. I've had it for a few months on my Galaxy S Vibrant and enjoy a few features better than anything offered for the Ipod platform. Something as simple as allowing you to add a firearm, and then each load for that individual firearm as opposed to stacking each load ontop of eachother made life a lot nicer. As far as the program "working" I took a coyote at 910 yards with it. It wasn't on the first shot but only because my rangefinders were not working in the snow.
