cheers

I bought a .40S&W because I wanted to shoot Major. I also got my mags from Tripp research because they say the 10rd cobra mags will fit in the IPSC box. I haven't tried them in the box yet though.

oh i should post that i would go 9 or .45, see to many finicky .40s for my liking and .45 lets you use heavier bullets and thus less snappy major ammo

I bought them straight from the Tripp research web site. You have to make sure to tell them you want the mags that will fit the "box". They have low profile mag bumper plates.

Very ###y.

I went for the .40cal myself. My reloading components are coming in next week. :)

Can't wait. I will shoot Classic division this winter. :)

10 rounds Tripp cobra mag? Hummm . Where can I find them? I heard the are ok for IPSC and IDPA.

Cheers.

Quick heads up.
Don't know about IDPA, but for IPSC, Appendix D3 #19:
19. Magazines accessible to a competitor during a COF must not contain more than 8 rounds (for Major power factor) or 10 rounds (for Minor power factor) at the Start Signal.

This is only for the new Classic division right? And if I wanted to enter it all I have to do is make sure to download each mag I have on me to 8rds right?

Tripp 10 rd .40 S&W mags that 'fit in the box' fit the USPSA box but DO NOT fit in the IPSC box (which is smaller than the USPSA box). Ask me how I know!
