Chest rig/mag pouch for griz mags?

I was wondering what people are using to carry their griz mags other then pockets. I don't want to buy something just to find out it won't work. Here are a couple I was looking at mostly due to the low price.

I have a 12.5 inch griz, and encountered the same problem myself. I went to the local gun and tactical stores, and they pretty much only had AR-15 mag pouches, which are much smaller than the grizzly mags...

Luckily, my wife is handy with a sewing machine, and she took an old butt side saddle (with a useless shell carrier on it), and stiched on a magazine pouch in it's place... Works very well, and I like that I can shoot two mags from the weaon (one in the well, one on the butt).

^ Nice I like that.... I don't have a sewing machine tho. So the griz mags won't fit in a AR pouch hmmm, are they to big the way I have marked in your pic I stole?

Thanks for the info my good man! So it will hold six griz mags?! That's perfect and it's a cool looking rig.

I wont break the links on you next time, and I will be placing an order to you as well. I know of another guy that is looking for the same thing so I'm sure you will get a couple more orders other then me.

Custom Kydex isn't hard to do. Would make a slick belt rig to hold 2-3 of them.

Now we just need the Semi that takes them to arrive.

Either use a .308 elastic mag pouch, ( Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed SR-25 or HSGI Taco are the best) or use a Kalashnikov or VZ-58 Mag Pouch.

There was a guy on here that has a Valtro PM-5 (Another magfed pump action) and his valtro mags fit perfectly in the leather bandolier that came with his VZ-58

2 valtro PM5 7rd magazines fit perfectly, sideways inside a standard GI M16 magazine pouch ...

If you look at the BFG HK 417 mag holders they are a little bit bigger then the sr25/m14 mag holders, prob work better for the grizzly mag.

Hit the surplus stores and see if they have any of the old Can. Forces mag pouches from the FN kicking around. I used a couple with my Valtro mags and they did the trick, and where only a couple of bucks each.
