If so, your owner's opinion as to quality, accuracy & handling would be appreciated, as I am contemplating the purchase of one.

Jim, I own a number of Chiappa lever actions 357, 44 mag & 22lr. I am not impressed with the 22lr lever, most of the internals are pot metal & I do not think they will last, it seems to work OK & is smooth in cycling but it does not impress me like the center fire unit do, they are very well build, very smooth & accurate.

I had one for a while. I agree with this statement.
