The chiappa sits in the cabinet about as well as the Marlin. That is where the comparison ends.
The take down is slightly different.
As noted it has a funny finish on the receiver.
The norinco lever .22 is a better value, but it's more a win 94/22 copy.
The jw was about 1/2 the price of the chiappa.
There are a lot of plastic parts in the chiappa if that bothers you.
Henry is in a different class - and they back their product with a lifetime waranty and friendly factory folks.
Not to say the chiappa, or norinco factory folks aren't friendly they might be.
Maybe when the snow melts I will do a sidebyeach comparison.
