This is a follow up to my previous post from a few months ago about the handguard that I made for the little badger (https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/2325346-Chiappa-Little-Badger-Handguard ). Long story short, I set out to make a handguard for this rifle as I felt that the quad rail set up was a bit silly and received a ton of positive feedback with people asking for a matching grip. So I went back to the drawing board and decided to make a complete furniture set for this rifle.

Without further ado:

As with the handguard, the goal was to give this rifle a more traditional look and feel as well as improve the ergonomics. This was the result. The rifle still folds up the same as it did from the factory, grip and handguard make it easy to hold and aim and the stock adds a bit of length bringing the LOP to 13.5in. I also added a removeable ammo holder to the stock since I never used mine but felt like it should be an option.

I would love to hear what people think about this, hopefully the new grip and stock live up to expectations.

You know, I've slagged these rifles for a few reasons having had one that would shoot when it wanted to. Ergonomics and aesthetics were the next problem...and you've seemed to have addressed those! The fore grip hides that ugly knob/hinge pretty well too-another hang-up of mine. :)

Nicely done, if you end-up offering these for sale..be sure to send me a PM. I may end-up with another Chiappa only in 9mm Flobert, I'd be having a chat with you for sure! :)

Thanks! If the gun shoots when it wants to its definitely not normal. Mine has been dead reliable and only shoots when I pull the trigger. I had the same problem with ergonomics and aesthetics as you tho lol. I feel like they could have done a much better job with that while keeping it at a similar price point.

Nice one, I think this looks like a classic three-piece suit. From the photos it's not my style (I prefer minimalist and am still dressing my Little Badger).

A job well done - you achieved your goal and created a distinctive set with improved ergonomics and consistent style. Get ready to sell lots!

that looks great. my biggest gripe the the little badger is the small rail section right behind the trigger guard. the first twenty rounds i put through mine wouldn't fire reliably, but after that it works great.

My issue has been the craptastic plastic "iron" sights. Put some metal sights on it and I would gladly pay $50 more for something that was usable. Everyone throws a scope on them, what is the point in that? Even a red dot is pointless IMO. Takes away the portabity and survival aspect of this rifle. Your mods look great otherwise however.

50$ is a huge mark up for 199$. Think of what you can get for 250$ instead. An M1 rear sight assembly is about 50$.

Do you have an ACTUAL issue with it, or is this just some "I hate all polymer things" that plagues this hobby?

Thanks for the compliments fellas, I really appreciate them.

I don't mind the plastic sights as they are very functional and since I got this rifle on sale for $160, I can't really complain.

I do think that there is a market for an upscale version of this rifle with metal components and nicer furniture but unfortunately nobody is making it. Pedersoli kinda makes one but its not a particularly great looking gun, obviously I'm a bit biased here but I would have preferred if they went for a more traditional look.
