So I did a search and came up with nothing so I'm looking for opinions on the Chiappa Little Badger 22WMR.

its a bit of an ugly little thing but I'm thinking it would be good for shooting the odd yote, and it packs up nice and small.

Mines in long rifle.... I did unugly it a bit....

Western big leaf maple, some copper from a roof scupper, epoxy and a few tacks...

Tools usd were a table saw, random orbital sander, hand drill and a jig saw.

You didn't have to go to all that trouble. My little Badger deluxe comes with a pretty nice walnut stock and fore end for $20s more. Mine is in .22wmr and with taxes and delivery it came to $226 from SFRC. Front sight is a bit chunky and is plastic but the rest of the rifle is solid. It also comes threaded.

It's light and the smallest rifle I own... Shorter and lighter than my ar with a 7" barrel and my cx4 with a 16" barrel. Already have 4 raccoons under its belt.

Nice to toss in your pack or in the quad, solid built and compact. I have the .22wmr and have used on grouse and bunnies. It's a bit strong for birds so short placement matters more than with a .22lr if you want any meat to be intact. And it's cheap ;)

I bought a used one off the EE from a gunnut in my town for $150, fun little gun. It seems decently accurate and has a great trigger. Probably never sell it. Some of these will shoot .22LR from the WMR gun but mine won't, the LR rim is too thin and the firing pin won't strike it.
