A quad picatinny rail allows you to add whatever accessory you like, from flashlights, grips, and bipods, to red dots for snap shooting. The M1 type adjustable rear sight and fixed front sight make for reliable aiming on their own, and the skeletonized butt stock with shell holder maintains utility without adding much weight. Don't let the light weight fool you though, this thing is built tough, with all-metal construction (with the exception of the butt-plate).
